Responsibility
- operate educational programmes to meet the individual needs and interests of children being cared for
- undertake appropriate supervisions for all members in your team
- feed into appraisals, target setting, and nursery operations as deemed appropriate by managers
- attend nursery management meetings and feed appropriate information back to team
- support all staff to engage in good team working
- ensure safe deployment of staff throughout the day
- to support the team members to have the specific knowledge and skills required to work effectively with children of the age group being cared for
- develop and maintain strong partnership and communication with parents/ carers to facilitate day to day caring and early learning needs
Requirements
- as this position is for a room leader we require the candidate to preferably have previous room leader experience
- the candidate must have a Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification
- must have a desire to provide high quality childcare to ensure each child reaches their full potential
