- proficient in the preparation of a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, pastries, and creams
- familiar with the proper use and maintenance of commercial baking equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets
- ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
- understanding of food safety regulations and best practices related to sanitation, temperature control, and inventory management
- strong time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a fast-paced bakery environment
- excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the Bakery Manager and other team members
- passion for the culinary arts and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of Fatty Cat Bakery
Responsibility
- assist in the rotation and management of inventory, following the First-In, First-Out principle to ensure product freshness and minimise waste
- role – Baker Assistant
- closely monitor the production process and finished products to ensure they meet Fatty Cat's quality standards
- clean and maintain all production equipment, including mixers, countertops, and baking tools, to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment
- provide feedback to the Bakery Manager on any issues or concerns related to product quality, equipment performance, or production challenges
