Responsibility
- thruDark Co-Founders are seeking to recruit a dynamic Merchandise Assistant to enhance to support our Merchandise and Supply Chain Department
- this position will partner closely with the product team and commercial team, ensuring supply chain performance, delivering stock on-time
- as a small, hard-hitting business we require a determined team player, with a multifaceted skillset and strong interpersonal skills
- this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, action-orientated individual, who is willing to get their hands dirty
- somebody who would be keen to welcome the challenge of working in a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial company
- you will be responsible for planning and managing stock and promotions to maximise sales and margin across all channels, whilst achieving stock targets
- this is a permanent, full-time role and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Poole, Dorset UK
- working closely with factories to plan orders, manage factory capacities and provide flexibility in the supply chain and ultimately delivery world-class product
Requirements
- minimum 1 year experience in Merchandising at Junior or Assistant level
- previous experience in fashion or outdoor an advantage
- highly numerate and able to interpret data to determine decision making, work to budgets and financial plans
- strong communication skills at all levels
- strong organisation skills – able to change plans in line with business needs
