- perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
- clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies
- empty and dispose of bins and recycling materials
- clean and sanitise tables, chairs, and other furniture
- ensure all cleaning supplies are adequately stocked, and report any shortages to the supervisor or duty manager
- follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure the well-being of customers and staff
Requirements
- previous experience in a commercial cleaning role is preferred
- knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices
- ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- strong attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- good communication skills to interact with customers and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
