Responsibility
- supporting the Lead Strategist during and after client discovery sessions to come up with the most effective solutions for client projects
- setting and implementing our technical strategy so we can consolidate the languages and frameworks we use
- owning and enforcing our software development and quality assurance processes
- ensuring we use the quickest, most effective tools at our disposal
- breaking features up into tasks and allocating those to team members
- reviewing code produced to ensure it aligns with our standards and best practices
- coordinating QA activities and processes to ensure everything works as it should
- managing our cloud environments to ensure we are choosing the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions
Contract type
- full-time
- working along with the client services team to ensure work is delivered on time and to budget, the key deliverable for this role is rapid, high-quality, and maintainable software development
- because we operate a flat structure, you are not responsible for line management. Rather, you are accountable for the way we develop software as a business
Requirements
- at least 2 years working in a similar role in an agency or similar environment
- experience building bespoke websites with 1 or more modern CMS platforms
- eligible to work within the UK
- ideally, you will have been working in a technical leadership role for at least 2 years and have extensive software engineering experience in an agency or outsourcing environment
