  • he independently uses a powered wheelchair and communicates using a speech device
  • SEN TA for home school
  • support in weekly sessions with visiting therapists
  • helping client have as much fun and life enrichment as possible
  • promoting and maximising opportunities for independence
  • all aspects of personal care
  • supporting physical wellbeing- physio and swimming
  • this role would be ideal for a student as hours fit around study. Regular weekend shifts available in term time and opportunity to work full time in school holidays

Requirements

  • full driving license required
  • previous experience of working with SEN is desirable but not essential
  • must be comfortable around animals as client has 2 dogs, a cat and 5 chickens and loves his pets
