Responsibility

  • to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our supported accommodation and flats as required
  • to maintain designated areas to a high standard of cleanliness in line with our cleaning specifications
  • to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the Y Theatre as required
  • to assist other members of the maintenance team to enable them to complete joint tasks
  • to identify and promptly notify of any maintenance/housekeeping issues
  • to be responsible for reporting general health and safety issues that may arise during day to day duties
  • to have a clear understanding of Health and Safety regulations and the implications for the YMCA
  • to liaise with the Property and Maintenance manager or cleaning supervisor on all aspects of the job
