Responsibility

• we are looking for a part time receptionist to compliment our already outstanding reception team
• the working week may be split between our Upminster Veterinary Hospital and our Brentwood Wellness Centre

• evening shifts are generally 6-8 hours long on weekdays and 9 hours long on a weekend day. The shifts will be between 7am and 11pm. You are entitled to an hour's paid lunch break during your 9 hour shift
• job Types: Part-time, Permanent
• the successful candidate will be working an average of up to 22.5 hours per week, taking into consideration a 1:4 weekend working pattern
• the successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of reception and customer service work: Meeting and greeting clients, email and phone queries, appropriate booking of appointments and liaising with clinical and non clinical teams
• part-time hours: 22.5 per week

• attendance at relevant in-house training sessions
• manage client record requests between other veterinary practices
• to understand and always adhere to Health & Safety protocols and assist with maintaining a Covid-secure environment

• participating in management meetings and implementing the decisions made in regard to the reception team
• to understand and adhere to our green policy and participate in our green accreditation

• the ideal candidate will be someone who is calm, attentive, and focused on clients’ needs
• the candidate needs to be confident, committed, and able to work well under pressure with exceptional organizational skills

• you will be positive, enthusiastic, and driven, with a passion for customer service. Our front-of-house team is the face and voice of our business, therefore this role is extremely valued within the hospital team
• you would need to be computer literate although training will be given
• joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going above and beyond your duties providing exceptional customer service, putting patients and clients first, always
• we want to ensure that whilst our clinical team supports the patient's needs that we are also able to offer a warm and friendly five-star customer experience to clients
• you will need to be an effective communicator, have effective communications internally within the team that are timely and efficient, and organization our diary so that we can provide the best advice and accurate information to our clients
• maintaining a professional appearance, daily attendance and punctuality are critical to this role
