- the White House Care Home is looking to appoint a Cook on a permanent basis
- cook Contract
- £13.00 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week

- 5.6 weeks annual leave
- our newly refurbished care home is in the popular town of Letchworth Garden City, providing exceptional levels of Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 50-residents
- as Cook, you will work alongside the Head Chef to deliver a high quality of food to our residents and ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner
Requirements
- city & Guilds 706 – 1 & 2, or equivalent qualification
- experience of food preparation for the relevant Service User group
- team player
- experience working in a care environment would be advantageous but not a deal-breaker
- basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- good communication skills
- ability to work on own initiative
