Responsibility

  • responsible for the training and development of the kitchen team and recruitment & selection of future kitchen staff
  • approach all work responsibilities with a positive and proactive nature
  • abide by Greene King operational procedures and ensure your personal presentation & grooming meet with the required standards
  • the ability to produce dishes to specification within targeted delivery times
  • constantly seeks to deliver a quality offer to ensure customer satisfaction. Seeks to instil a continuous improvement ethos in the kitchen team
  • manages the kitchen team performance by motivating and training the team to ensure catering duties are performed efficiently with customer service and satisfaction being a key focus. Forecast and manage the kitchen rota
  • ensure all kitchen procedures and systems are followed and company standards are met, particularly in relation to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and routine cleaning. Effectively manage GP, food stocks, order & delivery and equipment maintenance
  • report daily to the House Manager about quality issues, stock levels, deficiencies, equipment check/failures and any incidents that have occurred in the kitchen
