Responsibility
- installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability
- troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- repairing or replacing damaged hardware
- upgrading software & Hardware on all computers
- installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
- performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware
- providing support to customers and being the first point of contact for error reporting
- booking in stock and conducting evaluations on all new stock
Education
- formal IT qualifications are seen as a bonus but not a necessity
- 2+ years’ experience in computer maintenance/repair
Requirements
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to fit upgrades and install both new hardware & software
- good interpersonal skills
- expert in diagnosing and fixing fault/errors on Windows based systems
- highly Proficient in software installation
- attention to detail
- good problem-solving skills
- flexibility in their approach and easily adaptable
