Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery
- load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- ensure all items are properly secured and protected during transportation
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays
Requirements
- previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role preferred
- familiarity with route driving and courier services is a plus
- ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required
- knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- delivery driver experience: 1 year
