Responsibility

  • managing the Events Committee; working with Trustees to agree on programmes and formats for forthcoming events
  • about the Society
  • drafting policy papers; presenting policies to the events committee and the Council
  • budget management including forecasting, planning, and reconciliation of accounts for all of the Society’s events
  • working with SEB staff and any other necessary parties to implement successful marketing and communication plans for events
  • building and managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • the Society holds an annual conference and other events serving the needs of the above subjects and publishes 5 scientific journals
