Responsibility

  • work with executive chefs to formulate menus
  • prepare the menu items in a timely manner
  • monitor food product quality and maintain a high standard of food safety and sanitation
  • create employee schedules and ensure that all employees adhere to the schedules
  • be available for on-the-job training for new sous chefs
  • maintain a safe, sanitary work environment for employees and customers
  • supervise employees and ensure that all employees complete their assigned tasks
