Responsibility
- dusting, polishing, vacuuming and removal of waste
- using vacuum cleaners, scrubber driers, buffing machines and carpet cleaners in a safe manner
- ensuring correct colour coding use of cleaning equipment and correct dosing of cleaning chemicals, observing COSHH
- removal of waste to outside collection bins and for recycling compaction
- ensuring the security of the premises is maintained while carrying out duties. Unlocking and securing of premises
- support in carrying out general maintenance tasks such as repairs to seating, door closers and small building fabric repairs
- looking out for safety hazards and defects and taking appropriate reporting / rectification action
- to ensure that Health and Safety requirements are adhered to
