Responsibility
- ensuring safe site operations and the Health, Safety, Welfare and Security of staff, contractors and neighbours
- providing leadership and direction to the site team to enable safe operations in all operational activities
- helping to drive continual improvement in all aspects of Health and Safety on site
- safety leadership, promoting and delivering a positive Health, Safety and Welfare culture to all site staff, contractors and visitors
- promoting positive working practices and a review and improvement culture
- communicating Health, Safety and Welfare goals to site personnel, contractors and visitors
- maintaining and raising standards and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, standards, policies and procedures, through monitoring, auditing, reporting, advising and developing processes and procedures
- participating in Health and Safety Executive site audits and assisting with reporting, communication, review and close out of any actions
