• professional Qualified Occupational Therapy qualification to degree level
• HCPC registration
• knowledge of assessment, planning and evaluating treatment

• assess the needs of the pupils in order to create individualised Occupational
• understanding of supporting a range of needs including sensory, gross motor, fine motor and daily living skills
• experience of working with children with special needs preferred but not essential
• data is taken each time the programmes are run providing the OT therapist up to date information on progress between sessions
• awareness and understanding of autism
• experience of working as part of a team
• experience of working in a position that requires the person to show initiative
• good social skills and written and verbal communication skills
• quest School was rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted for the third consecutive inspection. The school uses the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis for pupils aged 5-19 which provides an individualised curriculum for each pupil
• general IT skills
• quest staff are trained in delivering the pupils’ OT programmes which then means the programmes are embedded into their curriculum and run daily
