- professional Qualified Occupational Therapy qualification to degree level
- HCPC registration
- knowledge of assessment, planning and evaluating treatment
- assess the needs of the pupils in order to create individualised Occupational
- understanding of supporting a range of needs including sensory, gross motor, fine motor and daily living skills
- experience of working with children with special needs preferred but not essential
- data is taken each time the programmes are run providing the OT therapist up to date information on progress between sessions
- awareness and understanding of autism
Responsibility
- co-operate in accordance with all school policies
- maintain complete confidentiality regarding the individual records of any pupil of
- work alongside ABA Supervisors and teachers to set targets for IEPs where appropriate
