Responsibility
- plan and coordinate events, including conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate functions
- collaborate with clients to determine event requirements and preferences
- select and book venues, vendors, and suppliers for events
- manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within budgetary constraints
- coordinate with hotel staff to ensure smooth execution of events
- communicate event details and logistics to all stakeholders involved
- oversee event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
- coordinate event timelines and schedules to ensure all activities run smoothly
Requirements
- previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred
- knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- familiarity with fundraising events is a plus
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
