Responsibility
- we are looking to recruit a Maintenance/Handyperson to join our care team at HR Carehomes. We consist of two sister care homes based in Staffordshire, The Old Rectory in Fradswell and Hanford Manor in Hanford
- shift pattern available is flexible and will be discussed at interview. Own transport is essential as it is required that you are able to drive to both care settings
- complete audits of the building and external grounds to ensure the homes remain safe and up to legal standards
- systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise – including working with fire doors and stoppers, changing locks and keypads, unblocking sinks and toilets, changing lightbulbs etc
- maintain the gardens and outside grounds to a safe and high standard
Requirements
- previous maintenance experience required
- experience in a care home desired
- maintenance: 3 years
