fresh fish is sourced from UK waters only, usually from day boats out of Southwold Harbour
the Canteen in Southwold is part of a community project in Southwold, on the Suffolk coast. We are not for profit, funded by the community
local gardeners, allotment holders, and foragers also supply us with fresh produce
we have recently been featured in FT weekend as their pick of best places to eat on the Suffolk Coast and July's edition of Waitrose Magazine
nicola Hordern, our head chef, is a Ballymaloe Cookery School alumna and was Head Chef at the critically acclaimed Darsham Nurseries until its closure in March 2020
