  • mandatory qualifications set by Social Care Wales to register as a Child / Adult Care Home Manager. Please refer to the Social Care Wales website for the current qualifications accepted

Responsibility

  • direct and support staff teams during the management of change
  • ensure staff maintain clear, up-to-date budgetary information that complies with the Nye financial guidelines and ensure the home is managed within the allocated budget, making the best possible use of all available resources and bring any potential overspend to the Directors
  • responsible for maintaining records, statistics and administrative systems in accordance with the Nye policies and procedures
  • raise any service deficiencies to the Directors of the Nye
  • the manager will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day management of the home remains compliant with CIW regulations and in line with the ethos of the NYE
  • participate in relevant meetings and events internal and external to the Nye i.e., team meetings, strategic and planning meetings
  • to Manage a team of residential social care staff in accordance with legislation, regulations and the Nye policies and procedures
  • work with the Directors to ensure compliments and complaints from individuals in the home, relatives, or others are managed in accordance with the Nye compliment and Complaint’s procedure
