  • position available to co-ordinate an exciting new opportunity for young people, 16-30 years at New Carnival
  • the role requires establishing an initial group and co ordinating the delivery of the 3-year programme
  • candidate’s role will be to liaise with tutors and young people to organise meetings and workshops
  • to book trips and organise travel itineraries
  • be able to promote activities and write social media posts and press releases
  • work to budgets, report on progress and collect relevant data and track evidence
  • A 3-year project, designed to give young people a chance to gain practical, transferrable skills within the scope of outdoor arts, carnival, festivals and the wider arts and cultural sector
  • the young people will have opportunities to develop their own events and activities through involvement at local events and by attending trips and workshops
