Responsibility
- the Tipi Company are seeking to employ a Production Supervisor on our Wood Yard
- opening & Closing of the Workshop & Yard
- issuing all work to staff daily in line with the production diary
- daily & weekly toolbox talks
- greeting clients and conducting handover of order
- responsible of all packing of orders
- conducting weekly stock takes
- working closely with our Buyer to ensure stock levels are maintained
Requirements
- experience of workshop tools and environment
- A proven track record in a team leader/supervisory role within manufacturing environment
- able to motivate a team to create a good working environment and provide any feedback to management
- contribute to the improvement of working procedures
- manage tooling/machinery/equipment issues
- able to work under pressure
- working to continuously improve on Health & safety &housekeeping
- experienced in the use of workshop machinery; cutting, drilling, routing, hand power tools and air tools
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
