Responsibility
- oversee and manage all aspects of the food production operations in artisan cafe and wholesale business
- develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other personnel
- collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
Requirements
- previous experience in food production management, preferably in a cafe, restuarant or hotel or from within the armed-forces
- strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and safety protocols
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant tools
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
