this role will align to the organisational objectives and seek to drive the departmental strategy within quality and cost improvement plans
identification of efficiency through digital interoperability with hospital information management systems internal and external to the Pharmacy
expectation of senior project management role for multifaceted projects between departments
provide specialist pharmacist expertise within digital systems to improve clinical cover
this is a key role for the Pharmacy Department and the post will act as the transformational lead for the London Clinic Pharmacy
to act as the Lead Pharmacist with responsibility for co-ordination of overall strategic pharmacy transformation plan as defined through internal audit versus NHSE&I Medicines optimisation framework
there will be a clear focus of digital infrastructure and the co-ordination of the delivery of efficiency in collaboration with the TLC IT Department
clear focus on Quality improvement and cost improvement plans within the pharmacy at The London Clinic, with reporting and management of improvement plans
Requirements
experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
experience of measuring and evaluating outcomes in order to secure improvement
experience of initiating, progressing and completing significant projects according to principles of PRINCE2 / MSP or working towards completion
experience of using and developing project documentation and software eg RAID, GANTT, MIRO
registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
post graduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy practice or equivalent
