Responsibility
offer 1st to 2nd line support to an expanding user group
maintain user accounts for all systems
installation, configuration, maintenance of desktops, servers and systems
reporting to the Finance Director, the Support Engineer’s primary role is to offer 1st & 2nd line support, training and assist in the maintenance of the network and liaising with Managed Service Providers
job Title: IT Support Engineer
maintain a high degree of customer service for all support requests and adhere to all service delivery principles. Continuously pursue service delivery improvements, make recommendations and flag any issues to the Finance Director
attend meetings as required to maintain knowledge and contribute to the improvement of services

Requirements
A) Educated to degree level in IT or equivalent E
A) Experience Supporting IT Departments E
B) Experience of working within a very busy college environment D
A) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Offices , and similar Systems. E
B) The ability to present a professional and positive image of the college E
C) Accurate data entry skills E
D) Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of Accuracy E
B) Certified to MCP level - Other Certification in key technology areas is a plus D
