- as an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day operations of the venue
- we are looking for a talented and experienced Restaurant Manager to join The Greenhouse on the Terrace, a brand new, brasserie style restaurant with a roof terrace bar overlooking the canal at Castle Quay in Banbury
- with beautiful interiors, a locally sourced, seasonal brasserie style menu and a stunning roof top location, the focus of Greenhouse will be simply - great food and excellent service in special surroundings
- we are looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join The Greenhouse on the Terrace, a brand new, brasserie style restaurant with a roof terrace bar overlooking the canal at Castle Quay in Banbury

- assistant Managers are required to carry out duty management shifts and should have a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of our business to provide the continual reinforcement of service standards and efficiently respond to any challenges they may be presented with
- manage the FOH team and provide feedback as needed to ensure everyone is performing their job properly
- follow all company procedures when processing serious guest complaints, incidents and accidents reports. Always escalate any issues to your manager and in their absence a senior manager
- ensure that company standards and practices as set out in the Team member Handbook are always upheld
- follow stock control procedures and guidelines and ensure they are upheld by all team members; assist your manager with line checks and weekly and monthly stock counts
- support the recruitment and training of new starters as well as assist with on-going training for your venue
- light Cinemas is an expanding cinema chain with 11 venues across the UK, offering both mainstream and independent films. Our aim is to deliver a unique experience both inside and outside our screens
- maintaining the smooth operation of the IT and technical aspects of the business, including projection, bowling systems and all back of house systems
- ensure that stock rotation occurs and stock is held in the correct way to minimise waste
Requirements
- previous supervisory experience
- A sound operating knowledge of business systems, for example, Fourth Hospitality, FnB, Compliance Centre, Vista, Projection
- comprehensive knowledge on Food Safety, Health and Safety and licencing laws and regulations
