Responsibility

  • the Managing Director is responsible for managing the business and the safe smooth running of all activities at Leaside
  • this includes all operations on and off-site, safeguarding, policies & procedures and staff management
  • working with partners such as EcoActive, you will support, enable and develop the environmental learning programme and corporate away-days
  • working with the Trustees you are also responsible for a growth programme to help deliver financial sustainability to the Trust
  • alongside our team, you are responsible for leading and delivering all of our activity programmes for the whole community, venue hire, courses and education services and ensuring that the needs of the local community are met
  • engage regularly with the Chair on key priorities and objectives
  • work with Trustees to create and apply for appropriate grants, and report to funders as required
  • an ability to oversee finances
