Responsibility
- we are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team
- ensure all ingredients and utensils are properly stored and readily available for use
- assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and freshness
- as a Commis Chef, you will work under the guidance of our experienced chefs, assisting in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes

- the ideal candidate should have a keen attention to detail, be willing to take direction, and possess a genuine passion for food and cooking
- station Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
- food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for cooking, including peeling, chopping, cutting, and marinating. Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality in food production
Requirements
- basic knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- passion for food and a genuine interest in the culinary arts
- strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- previous experience as a Commis Chef or relevant culinary role is preferred, but not required. Culinary school graduates or individuals currently pursuing culinary education will also be considered
- physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
