Responsibility
- taking charge of enquiries for events and turning them into bookings
- streamlining the event booking process
- running events, ensuring the highest standards are delivered
- liaising with event caterers and other suppliers
- seeking opportunities to broaden the event offering at the visitor centre
- managing and promoting off-site tastings through markets, local events, visitor accommodation and social clubs
- being on-site for any show-rounds, familiarisation trips and site inspections
- dealing with day-to-day visitor centre enquiries
Requirements
- proven experience in Event Management
- self-starter and pro-active approach
- customer experience orientated
- confident in general IT
- at least three years’ work experience in a hospitality, events, tourism and/or sales role
- knowledge and understanding of scotch whisky and gin
- driving Licence essential for external meetings and events
- event Management: 1 year
