Requirements
- awareness of, and empathy for, the needs of clients who are in abstinence based recovery
- ideally you will have worked in a similar role although full training will be provided
- experience of working with vulnerable people, often with multiple and complex needs in recovery from addiction
- lived experience of recovery from problematic substance use or addictive behaviours
- experience of working within the voluntary sector
- ability to manage and develop professional relationships
- experience of partnership working
- computer literacy: 1 year
Responsibility
- delivering person-centred 1-1 and groups support to enable individuals to maintain recovery from addiction
- entering accurate case notes onto the database and tracking client progress
