- role: The Assistant Shop Manager, Hawickis essential for the smooth every day running of Home Basics, particularly in relation to organising donations, arranging deliveries, supporting volunteers, and general administrative tasks which support other staff to fulfill their roles
- in agreement with the Manager, to provide holiday and sickness cover for other staff
- to assist with bank payments, invoicing, and recording of activities as required
- to manage an efficient schedule for the van, to maximise the use of its capacity, minimise fuel consumption, and keep sold items moving regularly
- to maintain and administer the Point-of Sale system as necessary
- to take part in meetings, discussions, training and working groups as appropriate and as directed by the Manager
