Responsibility
- assist the dentist/hygienist in all clinical procedures
- ensure that the surgical areas and equipment are regularly cleaned and maintained
- order [ OR ] new stock supplies as necessary
- other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
- carry out any other duties requested by the employer
- ensure computer/written records are accurately maintained and securely stored
- use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order
- handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
Requirements
- previous experience as a dental nurse
- A positive attitude and good communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
- commitment to delivering a high standard of patient care
- flexibility within the role, working with different dentists and on reception
- ability to work effectively and positively as part of a large team
- good IT skills
- dental nursing: 1 year
