Responsibility
- supporting the cafe manager in running the shifts, leading the team and maintaining standards
- deputisng for the cafe manager as required
- bringing new ideas for food and drinks, keeping an eye on latest trends
- using your creativity and experience to help us new ideas for events, promotions and marketing initiatives
- leading and training junior team members with primary focus on coffee excellence
- ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and adherence to the highest hygiene standards
- maintaining and promoting health and safety, by monitoring all required checks are being completed
- placing orders with suppliers and controlling costs and wastage
Requirements
- accomplished barista with excellent coffee making skills and superior attention to detail
- organised and reliable. Experience in overseeing shop operations, ordering and smooth daily operations
- must be available to work weekends
- ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- A passion and knowledge of various coffee brewing methods
- excellent communication skills and friendly personality
- teamwork and ability to empower and nurture
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
