Responsibility
- we are a fine food and beverage distributor looking for a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader to join our busy warehouse team
- overseeing the unloading and checking of deliveries from suppliers
- measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and individual employees performance
- supervise and control order picking, stock replenishment and everyday duties
- identify training needs to ensure all operatives are trained in accordance with the company operating procedures
- ensure equipment has the relevant checks made and records maintained
- as our Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader, you will be responsible for a small team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring a safe working environment and supervising and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance
- to provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
