Requirements
current driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
an excellent approach to problem solving is required
able to work flexible hours and location as required
able to accommodate occasional overnight stays away from home
subject to a successful Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme record
previous experience of developing products and services from concept to delivery, creating growth and scaling strategies, forecasting and business planning are required in this role
the post holder must be skilled at creative thinking, strategic assessing, planning, prioritising, and implementing to ensure business development objectives are achieved, sometimes in the face of adversity
this role requires a high degree of personal resilience, and the Chief Executive will be expected to work flexibly and with independence of action to ensure outcomes are met
Responsibility
ensure Food Train policy, procedures, pathways and best practice are adhered to by all staff and volunteers and across all Food Train activities
oversee the grievance and disciplinary processes, conduct internal investigations and hearings and represent the charity at tribunal if required
link between the Board and Accountant/Auditor to deliver the annual accounts, audit, annual reports, annual statement and AGM
