- subject to a successful Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme record
- previous experience of developing products and services from concept to delivery, creating growth and scaling strategies, forecasting and business planning are required in this role
- the post holder must be skilled at creative thinking, strategic assessing, planning, prioritising, and implementing to ensure business development objectives are achieved, sometimes in the face of adversity
- this role requires a high degree of personal resilience, and the Chief Executive will be expected to work flexibly and with independence of action to ensure outcomes are met
Responsibility
- ensure Food Train policy, procedures, pathways and best practice are adhered to by all staff and volunteers and across all Food Train activities
- oversee the grievance and disciplinary processes, conduct internal investigations and hearings and represent the charity at tribunal if required
- link between the Board and Accountant/Auditor to deliver the annual accounts, audit, annual reports, annual statement and AGM
