Responsibility
- promote the early childhood experience by working with children in the first two years of life
- provide care, nurturing, and learning experiences that foster development in each child
- implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmentally appropriate behavior
- implement activities that are age-appropriate for each child
- assist in developing new activities for children
- perform other duties as assigned by Director or Manager
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- level 3 or higher in Early Years Education or equivalent
- 3 years of experience working with children aged 0-5
- at least 2 years experience of being a Room Leader, Deputy or other Supervisory role
- safeguarding level 2
- DBS check and at least 2 references
- nursery experience: 1 year
- management: 1 year
