Responsibility
- to participate in receipt, storage, dispensing, re-labelling, returning and destruction of IMP according to study protocols and departmental SOPs
- to ensure that all clinical trial documentation is accurately completed
- to carry out procedures according to the Clinical Trials requirements as appropriate and to follow the relevant Standard Operating Procedures
- the Pharmacy Technician will provide support to the pharmacist in the management of the clinical trial pharmacy service, pharmacy dispensary and in the provision of pharmacy services
- to be fully cognisant of medical requirements for all study protocols, where pharmacy support is required
- carry out hospital pharmacy dispensary duties as required including all aspects of the service
- to dispense outpatient and discharge prescriptions screened by the Pharmacist
- to maintain sufficient stock levels in the pharmacy and to monitor expiry dates
