  • ensuring the quality of food preparation is of the exceptional standard
  • assisting in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation
  • ensuring effective communication within the team
  • preparing the mis-en-place for the section assigned to you accordingly to a list given to you by the Sous Chef
  • assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required
