- perform a variety of hairstyling services with a focus on braiding and locking techniques for Afro-textured hair
- execute intricate braiding and dreadlocking designs with precision and attention to detail
- stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in Afro hairstyling, continuously improving and expanding your skill set
- educate clients on proper hair care techniques, maintenance, and products to ensure long-lasting and healthy hairstyles
- provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable, valued, and satisfied with their experience at our barbershop
- consult with your own and new clients to understand their desired styles and provide professional recommendations based on their hair type, texture, and preferences
Requirements

- knowledge on promoting yourself through the use of social media
- knowledge of different hair textures, growth patterns, and appropriate hairstyling products
- excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to understand clients' expectations
- strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to create flawless hairstyles
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A valid hairstyling license or certification is preferred but not mandatory
- proven experience as an Afro hairstylist, specialising in braids and dreadlocks. Proficiency in a wide range of braiding and locking techniques, including intricate and creative styles
