Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- oversee all aspects of our food production, including daily administrative tasks, inventory control, ordering, and receiving
- be involved with product development as required
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation standards
- implement company food quality control procedures
- manage a small team of food production workers and provide guidance and training as needed
- maintain accurate records of inventory and financial transactions
- produce our food products to the quality and consistency required, adhering to the recipes and cooking methods of the company. Methods include steaming, baking, frying, cooling, packing
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience in the food industry is required - either in a working restaurant/pub/cafe kitchen or in food manufacture
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- knowledge of basic maths for inventory management and cost analysis
- mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus
- excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, suppliers, and customers
