Responsibility

  • ensure welfare facilities are adequate and maintained
  • assisting in the procurement and selection of sub-contractors to fit within the parameters of the programme
  • ensure, record and monitor the safety induction of all operatives
  • reviewing and advising on sub-contractor’s risk assessments and method statements
  • proactively liaise with neighbours and Local Authorities on works that may affect them
  • take off and requisition of materials and components to fit within the parameters of the programme
  • encourage and consult with site staff and operatives to recognise training needs
  • establish and maintain high standards of site presentation
