Requirements
- provide daily person-centred support as part of the wider staff team
- support young people with cross-cultural integration, mitigate risks and develop strategies for keeping themselves safe within their communities and UK society
- provide opportunities for young people to recognise their individual potential and support their talents, educational and career aspirations
- work in collaboration with social workers and other external professionals and networks to support young people through their asylum process
- achieve a high level of service delivery at all times and evidence this through assessment, monitoring and evaluation processes
- working with young people who have experienced trauma: 1 year
- working with UASC or refugees: 1 year
- advocate for and support a young person to ensure their best interests and choices are at the heart of our work within a trauma-informed environment
