Responsibility
- assist with organisational change projects across the Trust including taking the lead on smaller scale restructuring programmes
- assist with employee relations/casework issues including holding own caseload of discipline, grievance, sickness absence and capability
- lead on TUPE transfers as required and provide advice and support in relation to cultural alignment following such transfers
- attend and occasionally lead on the Trust’s JCC, developing positive working relationships with trade unions across the organisation
- provide professional advice and support on all aspects of HR policy, procedure, employment legislation and best practice to the senior leadership team of the central trust and academies
- build effective relationships with academy leadership, taking time to understand their work and requirements so as to be able to act in a full business partner capacity
- assist in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of the employment relationship, including the harmonisation of policies across all individual academy units
- oversight of the single central record for the central Trust team
