Responsibility

  • previous experience is essential but extra training will be given
  • we are a busy Garden centre restaurant in the heart of Poundbury looking for an enthusiastic cook to join our kitchen team
  • you will be working with fresh quality produce from our local suppliers to produce meals from our homecooked menu. We would love to have your input in new dishes and weekly specials
  • you must have a positive attitude, be an excellent team player and have willingness to learn. It is a very busy kitchen so you must be able to work well under pressure, prioritise and have good commnuication skills
  • you will be required to work 5 days including at least one day at the weekend 8.30am - 6pm. There are no split shifts but you maybe asked to work a evening if required for a function
  • job Types: Temp to perm, Full-time
  • contract length: 6 months
  • expected hours: No more than 45 per week
