- A reasonable level of computer literacy and ability to operate IT systems effectively
- some knowledge and / or experience of ISO9001 and ISO14001 or similar quality systems and experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- A recognised qualification in concrete technology or other construction materials related studies would be desirable or experience/knowledge of concrete materials and testing
- strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with plant batchers, customers, suppliers, management, and technical consultants
Responsibility
- assist in the planning, development, design, organisation, and monitoring of supports systems, procedures and policies
- assisting with production support and planning, working with management, supervisors and team members to ensure effective and efficient production systems
- logging enquiries from customers, tracking potential orders, processing of quotations to customers and providing all information required regarding product specification
- order processing , job file preparation/distribution, production planning including resources and materials, maintaining daily spreadsheet records, stock management/ordering, general liaison between departments and external sources
