have responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the Hotel

ensure compliance with company Policies and Procedures
management of all Financial queries from internal and external parties
assist with the Monthly P & L accounts and year end audit
monthly Stock takes
accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
reconciliation of bank accounts on a weekly basis
daily banking
management of the weekly and monthly payroll including analysis and control
ensure Pensions are completed monthly
ensure reporting is timely, accurate and consistent with the financial accounts and that P&L/Balance sheets reconcile to the trial balance
employee Contracts and other HR functions
act as duty manager when required

demonstrable Initiative
strong and effective communication skills
strong organisation and planning skills and the ability to prioritise appropriately

strong Internal Control Awareness
hotel Industry Experience preferred
