Responsibility

  • you will be trained in the use of heavy machinery and specialist equipment that will enable you to correctly recondition transmissions
  • the Gearbox Centre is currently looking to take on a Trainee Gearbox Technician, Based at our head quarters in Kent you will be trained in the reconditioning process of manual & automatic transmissions
  • if you are interested in starting a career in the automotive industry and receive onsite training from our dedicated experts then this could be the perfect opportunity for you
  • working Monday - Friday with no weekends or bank holidays, you will also receive 20 days paid holiday on top of this
  • no previous experience is necessary, but the right candidate will need to have a keen interest in the motor industry, be enthusiastic to learn, hard working and willing to learn new skills
