Responsibility
create menus and specials
monitor suppliers and deliveries to ensure they are always at the agreed prices
keeping wastage & stock holding to reasonable agreed levels
ensure food is always served to a consistent standard and following fresh food principles
deliver food with acceptable wait times
ensure food hygiene including full HACCP paperwork is maintained and up to date
the Kitchen Manager is responsible for overall running of the kitchen, managing of the kitchen team to meet performance and budget targets
A track record in developing our talented chefs ensuring they are consistently trained and developed
Requirements
experience in all areas of running a kitchen inc, food hygiene, good time keeping, a food hygiene certificate, The ability to work during busy service, working quickly whilst maintaining high quality standards of food and good time keeping is essential
