providing advice and expertise in relation to the impact of external changes on occupation pension schemes, payscales etc
ensuring quality financial information is provided and accurate accounting records are maintained in accordance with Trust procedures and statutory obligations
providing accurate and up to date information to the CFO and Operations Manager
line management of Trust payroll staff
ensuring the effective strategic and operational management of the Trust Payroll and Pensions Function and that each stage complies with due processes and procedures
Requirements
the successful candidate will be the ‘go to’ person for all matters relating to payroll and pensions
an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join the central team at The Chelmsford Learning Partnership to oversee and manage the Trust payroll function
the role is a critical role for the trust with the successful candidate taking ownership for the delivery of payroll across the trust
the successful candidate will have strong numeracy, organisational and inter-personal skills, an eye for detail and ability to work to strict deadlines. Due to the technical nature of this role, previous Payroll management experience is required
